Unopened kits in their original packaging can come back within 30 days. Once a kit is opened, assembled, soldered, or modified, it is no longer returnable. If something arrives damaged or fails out of the box, we replace it or refund you.
Returns
You have 30 days from delivery to start a return. To qualify, the item must be unopened and in its original packaging, with all parts and materials intact. Opened, assembled, soldered, or modified kits cannot be returned; these are hands-on electronics, and once a kit is touched we cannot resell it as new. Email returns@theodore.net before sending anything back, with your order number and the reason, and we will reply with instructions. Items sent back without authorization cannot be processed.
Defective or damaged items
If your item arrives damaged or fails out of the box, email returns@theodore.net within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you, your choice. A couple of photos help us sort it quickly. Separately, a 90-day limited warranty covers manufacturing defects from the date of delivery; it does not cover misuse, incorrect assembly, or damage from static discharge. Shipping and refunds
For change-of-mind returns, you pay return shipping; for verified defective items, we cover shipping both ways. There is no restocking fee. Use a tracked service, since we can only refund a return we actually receive. Approved refunds go to your original payment method within 10 business days of the return reaching us.
